THE PEDERSON HAND-MADE ACOUSTIC ADVANTAGE…
Mia's design is a merger of the Grand Auditorium's lower bout and the diminutive Grand Concert's shoulders and narrower waist. From this marriage, along with traditional acoustic guitar choices—like the standard sound hole location, we can shape its sound to be full, loud and crystal-clear. The modern X bracing gives this guitar exceptional balance, volume and tone.
The 16" lower bout delivers powerful projection and presence throughout the mix. Light to heavy strumming really excites the top and delivers warm bass notes full of mid-range overtones. Unlike some other guitars, this action will not overdrive the top to distortion or muddiness. Mia's top is tuned for a warm treble response, never becoming brittle in the fusion of notes.
The top has been tuned to a wide range of dynamic playing styles, not losing its responsiveness when playing with a lighter finger style touch. In summing up Mia's design in two words, they would be sustain and warmth.

WOODS
Select Indian Rosewood sides and back
Indian Rosewood is a staple wood used over years in the industry and the quality is very high. We always use select grade, straight grained, quartersawn rosewood, and this makes absolutely excellent sounding guitars. This is a Pederson favorite wood.
Select Mahogany sides and back.
Although this wood is less exotic, it is a great sonic
variation and will do the job well. |

Ebony pinless bridge
Ebony for the bridge is an industry standard choice. With a pinless bridge, I can take some weight out of the top and use a different bridge patch underneath.
I have also considered the shape of the bridge in the overall guitars design and sound output. I did this in design by taking some mass of the treble side, since the treble strings don't have the mass that the larger bass strings do in setting off the top. |

Ebony headstock plate
Each and every acoustic guitar will come with a great quality ebony headstock cover plate. I like grain variation, so I have chosen nice black ebony with some grain visible in it. Absolutely beautiful grain and coloration. |

Wood truss cover
The same with the wood truss cover—I love to see the grain of the wood. I have selected rosewoods, ebonies and other types of materials for the truss cover plate. If you would like to have something inlaid on the cover, such as your initials, your name or the model name, we do offer inlay upgrades.
Other standard woods and parts not pictured include Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard, and wood bindings.

| INLAY
Pederson logo on headstock
All guitars being constructed by me now will have the new Pederson logo on the headstock. This is an inlay and the materials will be mother of pearl and/or abalone. I hand cut this piece from mother of pearl then I use inlay techniques to put them on the headstock.
Side dots are also included.
