Here at the custom shop you can select from all different kinds of options and modifications to suit your needs as a player. You can choose scale lengths, fret size, number of frets, pickup choices and even the number of strings. Choose from any of the body styles you see as you are browsing around. You can have unique inlays that you can’t get anywhere else.

If you want a guitar that is differnt from the standard guitar models, we also offer completely customized guitars. We still hand-craft all the styles and specifications that you see, and we can do customer styled guitars in shape and specifications. Of course, you are not limited to what you see here. If you can dream it, we can do it.

We have an advantage other larger manufactures simply don’t have. As a Pederson Custom (formerly Abyss Guitar Company) customer, you are actually involved with the decision making process concerning your custom guitar. You have in put control over several aspects of the custom guitar and this means we can change and adapt to your needs as a player. Other companies that do have a "custom shop" are often inaccessible to the customer. Why? Because they focus on the standard mass produced products that make them millions. Each year we only produce a handful of unique unparalleled handcrafted custom guitars. We will partner with you on a personal level to craft the guitar of your dreams.
